As a fantasy film, it was just like any other. But this is not a fantasy film, it is a study of the social experiences that the youngest children of large families have to deal with as they transition to their teen years.
It hits many key points ie) little attention is paid; throwing everything away to trust in a girl; inability to fit the molds that older siblings laid before; I could go on.
