The Secret of NIMH is an animated masterpiece that has survived the test of time. In his early days, Don Bluth was a master. He reached children's imaginations not by talking down to them, but by allowing them into an exciting, but darker world.
It succeeds thanks to a lovable protagonist, stunning visuals, but most importantly, an amazing story told briskly and fluently.
