Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Andrew B — 26 May 2011

I really liked this one, it's interesting how Disney-like it looks at times. The story was good, the characters were good, the animation was good... you get the idea.
The only complaint for me would be how they never explained how the magic stone that saved Ms. Brisby's home came into being. I mean, the rats became more intelligent through lab testing, but that doesn't quite tell how they got that sort of power into their hands. :\.
Other than that, I thought it was well done. Oh, and I would consider your kids' tolerance for scary scenes before watching, a couple of tense scenes.
