Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Larry W — 01 Jun 2011

Hadnt seen this movie since I was a kid and it did not dissapoint . Total classic Bluth with all the highs and the lows . Ok the paseing of his movies is normaly the same and just skirts aboutthen the end all of a sudden but I Dont think this tackes away from his movies .

Now good points the animation is great seeing that hand drawn detail is such a change from modden sameyness . This is a little draker than most his movies with the story following a widdowed mouse trying to save her ill child who cant be moved and the time is ticking away befor the farmer plows the feild .

She goes on a quest witch leads her to the rats of N.I.M.H lab rats who have had there intelogence drasticly improved who live in a complicated socity with tecnoligy and magic . the end goes crazy with total fantasy plot love it .

the only thing I didnt like was the bird only put in for comic relife has no place in the plot at all but ow well dam good overall.
