Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Pat M — 07 Dec 2013

I love this film so much. It's a big step in the career of animation director Don Bluth. Even though his career would later fall in the 90's this film defined his career. While I love his other films like The Land Before Time, An American Tail, Anastasia, Titan AE, and All Dogs go to Heaven, this is his best film and in my opinion one of my favorite films together.

The animation is brilliant, the performances by Elizabeth Hartman, Peter Strauss, Derek Jacobi, John Carradine and others are done well, and it makes an audience think as I can say for a lot of other films being made for kids these days.
