Review of The Secret of My Success (1987) by Derek G — 26 Aug 2011
A moderately amusing piece of the eighties that's a bit too implausible to take seriously. While it's always fun to indulge one's self in the sounds and styles of a now mythic decade, the abundance of eighties bubblegum movie cliches could turn off many viewers.
Fortunately, it provides further proof to my belief that nobody brings as much energetic charm to a movie as Michael J. Fox can, as he provides most of the movies laughs and just barely saves the movie from being crap.
Good for a few chuckles and some nostalgia, but nothing special.
