Review of The Secret of Moonacre (2009) by Vessela D — 06 Jun 2009
This is a wonderful movie. A beautiful story of two warring families learning to give up greed and forgive. Filled with an array of characters and creatures in a magical valley. Everything was beautiful and heartfelt.
I have noticed that several people have complained about the unoriginal story, although I dont know what they are talking about. I was completely drawn in by the characters, their world, and their situation.
They have a rich ancient history. I have seen nothing like it. It was also wonderfully done. Beautiful costumes and sets, effectively dramatic directing and music. My only complaint is that several actors were used to play more than one character and it was a little confusing at first, until I worked out who was who.
