Film very much like the narnia films and especially golden cumpass, even the lead girl in that turns up her as the girl, going to stay with her uncle,who discovers a family secret, from the past involving magic and monsters, not as entertaining as those films but it has its moments and goodto seeioan gruffurd playing to adegree a unlikeable charactor.
