An old-worldly adventure story (see The Princess Bride/Inkheart/Chronicles of Narnia etc) though less entertaining than some of the others I have seen.
For adults watching this - nice costumes/sets but you're likely to find the plot too predictable.
Lots of fun for the kids though I'm sure.
