Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Ian R — 21 Sep 2010
I like the art design, but the story is up and down for me. For one thing: how many Christ like images can you construct out of Celtic Myth? And another: why is every character a metaphor? It doesn't suck and in many ways reminds me of a host of movies that I liked more but had similar themes and messages.
Oddly, a movie it reminded me of strongly: "Star Wars: A New Hope".
