Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Tim C — 21 Sep 2010
Like most, I had only heard about this film after it was nominated at the Oscars. The animation is simple, yet simply beautiful. The transitions are creative and serve the story well. Although short, this story is impressive, keeping you enthralled from start to finish.
Brendan Gleeson is teh only "name" attached to the project, yet is easily dwarfed by the ensemble of talent. The Secret of Kells will entertain those young and old, and for completely different reasons.
