Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Annie C — 21 Sep 2010
A nicely drawn bit of independent animation, but the movie falls flat as the Irish story of the Book of Kells is simply not enough to sustain a feature length film. Nonetheless, the surprise Best Animated Feature Oscar nominee is a interesting change of pace from the CGI-dominated worlds created by Disney and Dreamworks.
