Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Lilianetty L — 21 Nov 2010
Excelent film, amazing voice overs, love this animated film. Is so inspiring and so charming, it makes my heart be happy over and over again :).
Plot: Brendan is this kiddo, who lives with his uncle on a city were he thinks all should be construction and not happiness or hope or even fate to live. Aidan then arrives from foreign lands carrying a book brimming with secret wisdom and powers. To help complete the magical book, Brendan must overcome his deepest fears to travel on a dangerous and mysterious quest that takes him away from his uncle Abbot Cellach & into the enchanted forest, were he meets the fairy Aisling,an enigmatic young wolf-girl, who helps him along the way. Will the book get completed? Will his city can be saved? Amazing story-telling, some stars here.
Voice Overs (ACTING): I cannot believe the cast here either. WOW, WOW, AND WOW! Evan as Brendan was so incredible, I just got inspired. Same with Brendan Gleeson as Abbot. Defenetly incredible! Christen as Aisling was stunning and charming. Loved that character a lot. The rest of the cast did an amazing job. Some stars here.
Music: Dramatic, joyful, beautiful, enchanting and magical. I just loved this part so much, I give it stars too.
To end this review, 4 stars of 5. Beautiful film with an awesome message of hope and love. Enjoy my review and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS!
