A very simple, calming movie. The Secret of Kells has a unique visual style, reminiscent of That ill-fated movie by Richard Williams, "Spongebob Squarepants", "Super Paper Mario", and even a hint of Ralph Bakshi's "The Lord of the Rings".
It is a well-presented story that is both powerful and charming. It may not appeal to audiences that cannot handle what is outside the mainstream, MOM, but I hope that many will recognize this very underrated movie as something truly masterful.
