Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Melissa W — 02 Jul 2011
The animation is beautiful and the story has a charming innocence to it, like its drawn from the memories of a child. It sees its world in extremes, good and evil, light and dark, loss and hope . . . its refreshing in a way to see things so simple in a film and yet it never feels like its childish.
