The Secret of Kells is a magical film, beautifully drawn with precision and wonderful spirals of color. The film's score is mystical and rich in Celtic culture, and its original song, Aisling Song, is lovely.
The story is simple and feels a bit rushed near the end, but the film's unique hand drawn visuals heavily make up for it.
