Review of The Secret Life of Words (2005) by Carito A — 05 Nov 2007
Truly remarkable film. Where people understand without seeing and communicate without speaking. The oil rig island works as a poignant symbol of loneliness, emotional wreckage and separateness from the world and the present; a kind of limbo.
Beautifully shot and wonderfully acted.(soundtrack also very atmospheric).
