Review of The Secret Life of Words (2005) by Vicky V — 22 May 2009
A great portrayal of life, just as it is, with nothing extra and no pretentiousness and, most importantly, with people and their stories. Everybody's got one. I somehow feel Tim Robbins was miscast and I didn't like how they forced that happy ending, it really looked fake.
It didn't change the fact, however, that I was electrocuted by this film: the simplicity, the coldness and true emotions. Great, meaningful title.
