Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Campbell P — 04 Jul 2014
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was really something else. There's this sweet atmosphere that I felt the whole time. I got the feeling that I was almost feeling the same way that Walter did in the movie and when you have something that everyone can relate to in a movie, that's something special.
The moments he had with Kristen Wiig are the moments when because you really feel the way he does about her because we've all had that feeling for someone. On to the story though, throughout the film Walter wishes to be a more interesting person to gain the interest of the girl he likes.
He journeys around the earth looking for Shaun, a man who used to work for Life magazine. He has the missing piece of the slides that are going on the final cover. The whole movie is very fun, adventurous, and just overall very feel good.
B+.
