Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Mark S — 03 Jan 2015
This film really interested me when I saw the trailer for it, when I eventually got I see it didn't disappoint. The stunning scenery shots of Iceland and Greenland followed by the clever interchanges between scenes make this in my opinion a family classic to come.
Positives: the clever use of Walters zoning out on what he imagines to happen whilst combing this with what is going on in the background. You don't quite know at times whether he is dreaming or living.
Negatives: some people may find this movie lingers on in parts and become pointless.
Overall: a must see, potentially one of those films you must see before you die. The Moto of Life magazine is one I'm sure everyone can relate to and makes you want to just get up, get out there and see the world. The stunning soundtrack also helps the crazy ways of this movie. Defiantly recommend checking that out.
