Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Raji K — 23 Sep 2014
Daydreamer Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller) lives a dull life, and when creating his eharmony profile he comes to realize that he has nothing interesting to say about his own life. After losing the negative of his favorite photographer he sets off on a journey to find it based on the clues of other negatives in the roll.
The movie is meant to be somewhat epic, inspiring and comedic and I found it to really be none of these. The daydreaming sequences all were quite annoying, and you really got so tired of them that I didn't care when he started experiencing life for real.
The movie at least comes full circle and finishes much better than it started, but this film can easily be missed.
