Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Louis M — 20 Oct 2014
A beautifully shot film let down by some slightly ridiculous plot inclusions (see small spoiler at end of review) and a slight lack of believability in Stillers version of Walter. It makes me wonder if Director Stiller should have remained firmly behind the camera for this one and let a different kind of actor have a shot at the lead role. Overall though, enjoyed it and would watch again.
BTW - enhanced further by excellent soundtrack choices.
SMALL SPOILER.
A knackered stretch Armstrong quickly exchanged for a skateboard?! Wonder what he could possibly do with that! Blimey he just happens to be at the top of a (beautifully picturesque) surprisingly smooth downhill road as well. How fortunate.
