Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Ryan B — 13 Nov 2014
Boring life, crazy imagination, that describes Walter Mitty. The story is pretty simple, he's trying to track down this photographer cause he left out a negative that was meant to be used for the last Life magazine cover that Walter works for.
Ben Stiller is very good at his role, honestly it's not his best work but it's not his worst either so that's why the rating is the way it is, Kristen Wiig had some comedic moments. The acting was very mediocre.
There's not much comedy or even drama but this is one of those movies that kind of touches the heart and somewhat teaches you not to take life for granted and sometimes you just have to take chances.
Normally these kind of movies bore me a little but I don't know this one was a little different, I mean it wasn't a fantastic movie but it also wasn't too boring either. Basically it's a "take it or leave it" kind of film and I probably wouldn't watch it again.
Unrecommended.
