First, I'll put my hands up and say I haven't watched the 1947 version of this one. That one is a masterclass, according to the reviews and I have no doubt.
But watching TSLOWM for the first time through Ben Stiller, I never felt it is rather a cheap remake of a classic. This is a well made film and it really made me happy. Great lead performance, nice ost and brilliant visuals. What's not to like?
