Review of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) by Vernon S — 18 Mar 2016

I liked this movie a lot. I was expecting it to be a goofy movie with lots of segues to the protagonist's fantasies, but after several daydream sequences in the first half hour of the movie they all but disappear.

This leaves you with the main story line that carries you through the rest of the movie. The entire movie is beautifully shot. It artistically weaves the fictional Life Magazine's motto (the title character works for Life) into several scenes and the locations that the movie takes place in are breath taking.

Overall this definitely a movie I will be watching again.
