I realise that this is probably not fair, but I couldn't help it: I kept comparing this to "Toy Story".

I think the reason for that is because of the general outline of the plot - both films puport to show what goes on when their owners aren't around, both have a pampered pet/toy feeling threatened by a new addition, both have those 2 characters forming a bond whilst on a journey to get back to their owner after they end up separated from them ...

And so forth.

Not bad: just a pity thaty we've seen it all before!
