From the trailer I think averagely for this animation and after watching it, goes to prove my instinct was right. Zany average animation, nothing good to note and remember. Max was abandon on the street as a puppy and bring home by his lady owner who spend many years together.

1 day the owner adopted another big wild dog Duke who intimidate Max with his size. When Max scheme to break everything at home to blame it on Duke, the latter has no choice but listen to him. Max have many other pet friends in the apartment and a admirer Gidget.

While out there walking, Duke try to throw Max into a bin to get rid of him. They were attack by alley cats and then caught by pound. A zany rabbit Snowball barge in to save his buddy dog and the duo pretend to be pet owner killer to join the gang.

Snowball has hatred for pets and the human owners and his underground gang comprise of many abandoned pets. Gidget go to the rooftop trying to find Max when she met a hungry chained eagle Tiberius who wanted to eat her.

She manage to strike a friendship with him. Extracting info from the alley cat, the pet friends get help from a know-it-all old dog Pops to find the underground. During the initiation ritual, Max and Duke were expose by the alley cat as pets and they manage to escape.

They enter a sausage factory and eat all they can. Duke mention his ex-owner and Max tell him to find him. The owner is dead and Duke is caught by pound after saving Max. Snowball and pals continue to chase and the pig friend Tattoo is also caught.

Snowball and Max work together to save them. The truck is stuck on platform and falling into the river. Gidget and gang arrive and beat the other animals from harming Max. They manage to save Duke trapped in the truck.

Gidget confess her love for Max and they are together. Max and Duke welcome their owner home and become buddy. Snowball was pick by a girl and become pet again.
