A good cast list though a very dull script that never really takes off. There are good performances from all involved - Dakota Fanning gives another terrific performance, Queen Latifia is her usual loveable self and Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Sophie Okonedo and Paul Bettany are all fantastic in supporting roles.
Overall, it's all very sweet and sentimental and we've seen this kind of film a million times before that it doesn't stand out from the crowd. See this for the great performances.
