Review of The Secret Life of Bees (2008) by Saku N — 21 Mar 2010

Having seen this movie-which though long was really quite well done overall (acting, cinematography, editing)- I have a strong feeling that the book is not only better then the movie but just excellent all around.

getting back to the movie, the soft, light music was a nice touch and made the heavy story much more manageable for the audience. I liked it, don't really have a need to see it again, but now want to read the book that the movie is based on.
