This was such a fantastic book, and it has stuck with me for a long time. I was hopeful that the film would do the story justice, and I believe it has. It has some really big name stars that did the film for less than their usual fees because it was something they believed in.
The acting is superb and the story is worth your while. One part 60's segregation tale, and one part dramatic family struggle - you are bound to feel moved.
