Review of The Secret Life of Bees (2008) by Emily H — 08 Oct 2010

What a great cast a wonderful ensemble cast of women Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson ,Queen Latifah, Sophie Okonedo, Alicia Keys, and Hilarie Burton plus I get the complicated life of bees we as people are lives are just as complicated the story is so rich for the time of the civil rights act at times I was angry then I was sad but ultimately I was overjoyed at the many tiny or few happy moments in the film ,i'd love to read the novel based for the movie I always like movies about the south they always show a good and bad side of the south not only that real life stories put into film rather fictional or non-fictional but they still tell a story I think overall I loved the film and it was very well done and a wonderful but powerful period piece.
