I decided to watch this movie based on a clip of the extended tracking shot. which was wonderful, btw. I was on board with the plot until the interrogation scene. even with my unfamiliarity of argentine police procedure, I knew it was ridiculous.

there was a point after the murderer is set free to be part of a death squad the story should've ended. but it went on until every thread was followed, needlessly. not a waste of time, by any means, but an oscar winner? weak.
