Review of The Secret Garden (1994) by Esther S — 07 Oct 2012
This movie is like a classic Disney film-there's a large, remote English manor, a plucky orphan, great, colourful minor characters and a positive heartwarming theme. The focus is on the children and their coming of age story set in a large, beautiful country house that resembles a castle with gardens, a large staff and secret passageways.
The moral is a bit corny, but the setting, acting, atmosphere and story are very all very well done indeed.
