Review of The Secret Garden (1993) by Ryan S — 26 Apr 2008
Though absolutely not my usual viewing, the Roger Deakins cinematography is plenty to soak in, and at just a little over an hour and a half, the movie never feels old or slow like most films of its kind, allowing us to soak in all of its little pleasures.
It has many flaws, but overall the typical G-rated modern family film will never come within miles of this type of quality.
