Gorgeously shot, and incredibly well acted, especially considering the ages of the children involved. Surprisingly mature for a movie aimed at families, yet wondrous enough to hold the attention span of kids (assuming they have good taste - when was the last time Hollywood made a movie like this that includes kids in the audience?).
Timeless. Deserves a proper restoration, as the old DVD is a bit grainy.
