Review of The Second Woman (1950) by Jay N — 29 Oct 2009
An intriguing psychological suspense noir starring Robert Young as a man who begins to doubt his sanity after a series of freak accidents following the death of his fiance. With the help of his new girlfriend, played by Betsy Drake, Young realizes that he is not insane but that the accidents were causes by an enemy who is out to destroy him.
Nice noir cinematography, interesting plot, and a surprise ending. Film quality is only fair, though.
