Review of The Second Time Around (1961) by Scott R — 22 Aug 2014
140822: Trying to discover what this style of western is called. It's very familiar and I've seen it called "light-hearted", I've seen it called a comedy. If it's a comedy, it's a soft comedy.
The humour is there but it's light. There is a slap-stick like finale. Reminds me of the westerns from my youth. They're not violent action films like today. They're not crude. The word "quaint" comes to my.
This film is enjoyable quaint and a bit fun. Well worth watching. Disney like, the 70s Disney I mean, not the Lone Ranger Disney.
