I am not saying it is not fun to watch actors like Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, and Bill Nighy--it is. I just wish they had spent more time on the situations. I do not understand why there is a second hotel inspector, why the Scorpion cab almost runs over Carol (except to create a misunderstanding), or why Sonny's fiance never leaves him.
Clearly there are a lot of red herrings. And red herrings are hard to digest.
