Review of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015) by Gerhard J — 15 Aug 2015

I liked the first 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' a little and was pleasantly surprised at it, but was really surprised when I heard they were making a sequel, especially with its terrible title.

But I figured I would check it out. Looking back, I only gave the original 3 stars, but might change it to 3.5 stars as it's solid movie. This one is much of the same and the addition of new characters including Richard Gere, doesn't do too much to make it better than the original.

I'm not exactly sure why theses films are so popular or even why I somewhat enjoy them, but my only guess is that they are fun and pleasant films. This sequel isn't as good as the first and really don't see the need to make any futures films.
