Review of The Seasoning House (2012) by Cecily B — 10 May 2014
I really wanted to enjoy this. It had a great premise, but sadly just didn't hold together well. Great cast of Kevin Howarth and Sean Pertwee, but the remaining cast was pretty forgettable.
The man in this movie were brutal. All of them. Horrible disgusting animals. And the poor woman. But sadly no real characters other than Sean Pertwee and Kevin Howarth (and he wasn't in it enough). It was hard to get into the characters and story when it was just sheer depravity and cruelty towards these poor women.
