Review of The Searchers (1956) by Eden N — 16 Dec 2010
Great revenge movie. John Wayne gave a much better performance in this than in "True Grit", for which he won Best Actor. Natalie Wood is beautiful when she shows up. The landscapes are gorgeous and that ending shot is wonderful.
It's a simple story, but a very well done one.
