Review of The Searchers (1956) by Sarfaraz A — 27 Mar 2011
The Searchers '56 directed by John Ford; a master of cinema. I would expect such western films, The Searchers is so far my top-most favorite Western film.
Locations of Landscape of wilderness of Texas, completely takes your breath away. A pure capturing of American Western outlook. Ethan's (John Wayne) entry in the start of the film, and the ending scene of him leaving; are few of my most favorite as well as cherished scenes from movies.
John Wayne's hatred against Red-Indians make the sensation to be there in entire film. Wonderful humor in this fine crafty film, as well as praise-worthy music-score by Max Steiner.
