Normally, when the new york times and only the NYT puts a film intheir top 1000 of all time list its a pretty crappy film but in this rare case, the NYT actually found a real hidden gem. a suprisingly realistic and heartfelt drama with a great performance from clift definetely should bump into the upper echelon of film history.
