Review of The Search (1948) by Carreh R — 27 Jul 2012
The Search was a tear jerker though I didn't really cry but it was emotional. Montgomery Cliff was very cute in the movie and his acting was great. It must have been quite a shock for Americans to see this film in 1948 and see the devastation the war had wrought on Europe.
The endless numbers of orphan children, separated families looking for each other and bombed out buildings everywhere. I can't say too much or I'll give too much away but it is worth watching.
