Review of The Seagull's Laughter (2001) by Ambergaye — 24 Nov 2007
I am borderline obsessed with Icelandic cinema but I was actually really disappointed by this movie. It started off well but I think it lost steam. I am a huge fan of Hilmir Snær Guðnason so his presence was one of the few (sorry) interesting aspects of the film.
I would still recommend it as an important Icelandic film to see, if you're as into that genre as I am.
