Review of The Sea of Trees (2016) by Red M — 01 Apr 2017

I went into this thinking it was a horror movie (thinking I got it mixed up with "The Forest") either way, I was pleasantly surprised by how immersive the movie turned out to be, and how emotionally powerful it was.

I lost it at least 3 times throughout the movie, and flat out bawled at the end. Damn, this movie is sad. I can't honestly say that this movie would be for everyone and honestly if I had watched it at any other time, I probably wouldn't have gotten anything out of the movie like I just did.

I want to say it's beautiful, but honestly, it's more sad than anything ...but, still a good movie imo, and I'll be hanging on to it.
