Review of The Sea Inside (2004) by Jennifer A — 26 Mar 2008
The Sea Inside is not only a socially conscious film about euthanasia, but a profound meditation on different forms and expressions of love and life. This movie touched my soul deeply and showed me once again that we are all potential acomplices in shaping a world where life with a disability is perceived as worth living - or not.
Javier Bardem delivers another" in my opinion" great performance, it's amazing how he is capable of turning on the charisma even working only from the neck up. He scared me in "No Country for Old Men " and made me cry during this one - Two really difficult things to do ;-) .
.. Also... Clap clap clap - not only to Bardem but also to director Alejandro Amen¡bar.
