Review of The Sea Inside (2004) by Daniel S — 08 May 2008
It reminded me of "The Barbarian Invasions" (another movie about a man who wanted to go out on his own terms), and like that movie, what touched me here wasn't so much the man (although I cared about Ramon) as the man's family - how they stuck by him for 28 years, willing to sacrifice almost everything for him.
God forbid I'm ever in that situation, but if I was, I hope that my family and friends would care about me as much as these people cared about Ramon.
