Javier Bardem is amazing in this movie. He is my favorite actor. Made in Spain of course with English subtitles.
The movie strikes me with its patience presenting each character's development. It is almost dreamlike and as with Pan's Labyrynth one does not realize there are subtitles as the story unfolds.
