Review of The Sea Inside (2004) by Bart & — 01 Jan 2010
Great script, amazing Bardem and the operating history makes us feel in some way connected with the main character, as if it was someone close to us. Despite a really difficult subject which the director takes the film is warm, calm, and nothing is on the strength of dramatized. This like the unadulterated certainty in the eyes of Ramon when he speaks of a desire for death shocks more than even the greatest voice in the matter.
And that question to the main character "if you want death, why still smile?".
